Perfectos Inks – Realising the Potential of a New Warehouse
Perfectos was started in 1969 in the garage of John & Ann Price, manufacturing ink. Within 10 years it had a turnover of £3 million.
Expansion came quickly moving to Bottesford and more recently investing heavily in this state-of-the-art Warehouse. Having a facility in Hong Kong made commercial sense as so much garment manufacturing had moved East.
Abacus Flooring Solutions were asked by good friends at Raxel to make contact with Perfectos as the floor needed to be treated. Abacus’s Founder and Managing Director Nick Megson visited site, meeting with Project Manager Neil Westley to find out the exact requirements of Perfectos and then to carry out a survey of the warehouse.
As the concrete had only been installed a few months earlier, Abacus had to apply a liquid damp-proof membrane prior to applying two coats of moisture tolerant high build coating. Abacus provided an easy to clean, slip resistant finish in the Perfectos chosen colour of Anthracite.
Abacus completed the total project in 4 days which included preparing the concrete using enclosed recoverable shot blasting. This method opens up the concrete leaving a profile for the resin to adhere.
Abacus work in all industries throughout the country installing all types of seamless resin flooring.
