1350sqm Engineering and Manufacturing Flooring for Expert Tooling of Coventry

PSC Flooring were called in by Expert Tooling of Coventry, who are leading manufacturers of industrial automation systems, assembly tooling, automated assembly, special purpose machinery and single and multi-robotic cells, including robotic assembly. Asked to look at their 1350sqm floor, the floor itself was in good condition as it had only been refurbished approximately 4 years ago, but as they were moving machinery they wanted to refurbish and refresh the floor whilst the floor space was clear.

The preparation process included thoroughly cleaning and preparing existing resin floor surface using the captive double headed diamond grinding machine and handheld 110v diamond grinder. All dust and residues were then vacuumed clear and repairs made to any localised damaged concrete, holes, bolt holes as required using a resin filler.

The two coat Resdev Pumatect high build epoxy resin flooring system in the client’s chosen gloss, light grey, Ral 7035 was applied to the 1350 square metre area and left to cure before 75mm wide Epoxy resin demarcation lines in safety yellow Resdev Pumatect V high build epoxy resin were applied.

The whole job took just 4 days to complete.
