IFT installs flooring at Glasgow’s new So LA restaurant

IFT was appointed by Rusk & Rusk to install flooring at the new So L.A. restaurant on Mitchell Street in Glasgow. Working alongside the main contractor, the team at IFT installed 300 sqm Mapei Ultratop Light Grey as finished floor including seal coat, 200sqm Uzin NC170 industrial floor screed including seal coat, 100sqm Altro Stronghold sheet vinyl, 50sqm Ege Highline Carpet to basement and stairs, as well as 100sqm of Hygienic Wall Cladding.

The restaurant is owned by Rusk & Rusk, the independent hospitality and lifestyle group who are behind some of Glasgow’s most stylish restaurants including Hutchesons City Grill, The 158 Club Lounge, The Butchershop Bar & Grill, and The Spanish Butcher.

So L.A. opened its doors on Mitchell Street in December 2018, with the restaurant, bar and events space giving a nod to the lifestyle and culture of California.
