New Start for Alco Valves Group

Ultrasyntec has recently finished a new flooring project for Radcliffe Construction at Alco Valves new state of the art facility at Brighouse, West Yorkshire, which went live for the start of 2017.

Alco has now moved all its other sites to the new factory situated at Gooder Lane which will now produce a whole range of instrumentation valves for worldwide distribution. The flooring was no different from the rest of the factory, it had to be tough, reliable, stand the test of time and look good! The specification, after captive shot blast, was to apply two low viscosity primers, then trowel apply heavy duty Epoxy Self Smoother to each colour coded area. Following which, Ultrasyntec added demarcation lines and zebra crossings. Paul Radcliffe of Radcliffe Construction Ltd, said; “The works were carried out on time and on budget, both myself and the client were very happy with the finish, I wouldn’t hesitate using Ultrasyntec again”
