Smooth floor helps to get a smoother complexion

Central Flooring Services has just completed a 400m2 flexible polyurethane self smoothing resin project for a manufacturer of skin care products in Derbyshire. The specification called for the over boarding of steel beams with timber. This was followed with the installation of a coved skirting, Flowshield LXP self smoothing resin system and a clear matt coating to leave a completely seamless and durable finish. Flowshield LXP is a FeRFA type 5 product designed for use over asphalt, wood, steel and concrete. It provides a flexible, easy to clean, chemically resistant floor topping. Typical applications include process, manufacturing, packaging and warehousing areas subjected to heavy foot and pallet truck traffic and where a degree of flexing of the floor is expected. The finished project was handed back on time to the complete satisfaction of the client.
