Staircase and Corridor Refurbishment at Manufacturing Warehouse

A screed quartz resin flooring system was the perfect choice to refurbish the staircase and corridors of this manufacturing facility.

The main staircase had vinyl applied over various subfloor materials, namely screed, asphalt and tiles. These materials had to be completely uplifted and removed to reinstate levels prior to the installation of a heavy duty polymer modified screed and the Altro Screed Quartz could be installed to all treads, risers, stringers and corridors leading off the main staircase. Screed quartz resin flooring system was a perfect choice for this project due to the durability and ease of cleaning characteristics of the product and also its eye catching appearance. This project was awarded Highly Commended in Small Industrial Project of the Year at the 2017/18 FeRFA Best Practice Awards.
