When Carpets need Resin Flooring
When Valley Carpets decided to refurbish a warehouse unit they had just purchased, Central Flooring Services were the recommended contractor to carry out the work involved.
A site survey identified that existing falls would need to be removed to provide a level floor for racking to be installed. Working with resin flooring manufacturer Flowcrete, a specification was agreed to suitably prepare the substrate to include joint repair, apply a liquid damp proof membrane followed by a polymer modified flowable screed to produce a level surface. To complete the project, two coats of Flowshield SF41 (FeRFA Type 5) were applied together with full demarcation to aisles and pedestrian walkways. The project was completed on budget, on time and met all the client’s expectations. Products: Flowscreed Industrial Top, Flowshield SF41
