Scope of work

Surface Preparation & Moisture Protection: We began with the application of Monarprime DPM, a damp-proof membrane that protects the resin system from moisture ingress and extends floor life.
Base Levelling: Next, we applied Monarflow, which provided a flat, smooth base layer; critical for achieving a flawless decorative surface.
Resin System Application: We followed with Monarcoat 720, our high-performance, chemical-resistant epoxy resin. While still wet, we broadcast our popular Pebble Blend flakes into the surface to create a seamless, speckled effect.
Clear Seal Coats: Two coats of clear resin sealed the flake layer, delivering a glossy, low-maintenance surface built to withstand regular use.
Detailing & Finishing Touches: We installed a flexible trim around the boiler, to ensure a tidy, finished edge that enhanced the overall look. Then around electrical fittings and pipework, we added 100mm-high skirting, improving hygiene and protecting vulnerable wall junctions.
