Monarch Resin Floors recently undertook a transformative project for a prestigious Bus Company based in Barnsley.
Our client, known for their commitment to quality and safety, looked to revitalise their flooring, which had deteriorated over time due to wear and tear. We were entrusted with the task of renewing the flooring across an area of approximately 650m², across two visits to minimise disruptions. The project began with the removal of the existing coating, which had become worn over time, by using diamond grinding. The diamond grinding technique allowed us ensure a thorough preparation of the surface. Following this, the Monarch team applied three coats of Monarcoat 720, a highly versatile epoxy resin floor coating known for its durability and chemical resistance. This choice ensured that the new flooring not only met but exceeded the client’s expectations in terms of longevity and performance.

ENHANCING SAFETY WITH MONARCOAT 700

In addition to the primary coating, we utilised Monarcoat 700 to incorporate essential demarcations, including stair nosings, to enhance safety within the facility. As a result, this application not only provided visual guidance but also contributed to the overall safety standards of the environment.
