The course begins with an introduction to the NVQ framework, health and safety awareness, and employment rights and responsibilities. Candidates will learn about the importance of correct surface preparation, moisture testing, and how to work safely within legal guidelines. From day one, participants are supported by FeRFA-approved assessors who ensure training is relevant and tailored to real-world applications in the resin flooring industry.

Over 18 months, candidates will receive in-depth, hands-on training in resin flooring techniques. They’ll master the application of self-smoothing screeds, flowable screeds, and learn how to handle the challenges of on-site installation. Alongside practical skills, candidates will explore industry best practices, troubleshooting, and quality control methods that help ensure each project is completed to the highest standard. Regular assessments and on-site observations will track progress and ensure full competence.

Upon successful completion of the NVQ Level 2 in In-Situ Resin Flooring, candidates will have the recognised qualification necessary to secure the CSCS Blue Skilled Worker card, validating their skills in resin flooring.
