CSCS – The Construction Skills Certification Scheme
CSCS - The Construction Skills Certification Scheme
Most contractors and clients require proof that workers have appropriate training and qualifications relevant to the construction role they will be carrying out on site. This can be demonstrated by holding a relevant CSCS card. The card lists the holder’s qualifications; it also shows they have health and safety awareness. Cards issued based on a recognised construction qualification are valid for 5 years and can be renewed upon re-application. Temporary card types with varying validity periods are also available for individuals working towards a recognised construction qualification, or working through a probationary period (Provisional). CSCS cards can be checked using CSCS Smart Check. Find out more about the card checking app here:- https://www.cscs.uk.com/about/cscs-smart-check/
